Create a Slaughter Plan in BRAINR to organize and manage the reception and processing of live animals at the slaughterhouse.• Add loads by importing purchase orders automatically. • Or add loads by manual entry. • Use the plan to keep execution efficient and traceable.
Important Notes
In the delivery start and delivery end fields, we recommend that the data be entered as follows:
Delivery Start: Date and time of the first (planned) load minus 2 hours → Example: Date/Time 1st Load = 01/02/2023 10:00 PM → Delivery Start = 01/02/2023 8:00 PM
Delivery End: Date and time of the last (planned) load plus 2 hours → Example: Date/Time Last Load = 01/02/2023 10:00 PM → Delivery End = 01/03/2023 12:00 AM
The correct definition of these two fields is crucial to ensure the proper functioning of the entire process.
On the Homepage, navigate to the "Slaughter Plans" module in the Slaughter Plans section.
The module lists all Slaughter Plans in the Open, In Planning, In Progress, Completed, and Finished states; check the Production History for closed and canceled plans.
The "Items" column indicates the number of loads included in each slaughter plan.
To create a new plan, select the "+ Create Slaughter Plan" button in the upper right corner of the page.
Enter the following mandatory data in the slaughter plan header:
Line: Select the production line where the plan will be executed.
Shift: Select the production shift corresponding to the plan execution.
Slaughter Date: Indicate the expected date for slaughter.
Date/Time: Define the delivery period for associated loads, indicating start and end date and time.
Operator: Select the person responsible for the plan, typically the process manager.
There are two ways to add loads to the plan:
Automatic Import: Click "+ Import" to open the import modal. Select the desired Live Poultry Purchase Orders. Only orders not yet fulfilled will be available for import.
Manual Addition: Click "+ Add Load" and fill in the following mandatory fields in the modal:
Product: Type of live animal to be slaughtered. Must have the Production Classification "Raw Material" in the material master data.
Expected date: Date of arrival of the poultry at the slaughterhouse.
Quantity (units) and Average weight (kg): Load specifications.
Batch: Choose an existing batch or create a new one.
Category: Product category (e.g., industrial chicken).
After adding all loads (manually or automatically), click Save to confirm or Cancel to discard changes.
After saving, you will be redirected to the Slaughter Plans list, where the new plan will be available in the Open state and ready for management.
