Improvements to MRP Planning, new Stock Availability Lookup application, new application for custom dashboards by section...

🆕 Improvements & New Functionalities

🌐 Web Application

Several improvements have been made to the Material Requirements Planning (MRP) application, with the aim of making the experience more intuitive and giving users greater visibility.

  • On the list page: i) when clicking the document number, the single-click row, or “Details”, the user is redirected to the planning details;

  • On the detail page, the “Results” tab has been added, where the various production orders suggested by MRP are visible;

    • ⚠️ NOTE: Suggested POs generated by MRP are now created in this tab! ⚠️

  • On the detail page, the “Line Allocation” tab and the “Product List” have also been brought in, where the PO tree for that PO is shown;

  • The “Actions” button now includes the “Manage Results” option, where details of the suggested productions can be edited, such as shifts, quantities, and production versions;

  • It is now possible to add and view observations, both at plan level and for each production item, with counters and visible history;

  • The option to “Save” planning in “Draft” and “Open” mode has been added;

  • The option to reopen already closed plans is now available whenever needed;

An improvement has been made to the Master Production Schedule (MPS) application, adding the possibility to "Edit" master production schedules even when they are in Calculated status, giving planning managers greater flexibility.

The new Stock Availability Lookup application has been implemented, allowing users to easily check the stock levels of each product by center, warehouse, or location, as well as expiry dates by product.

  • This functionality provides clearer, more efficient, and overall visibility of all materials existing within the factory;

  • This functionality will evolve over the next releases so it can become even more complete and empower warehouse teams to manage stock in BRAINR in a more comprehensive, flexible, and useful way.

⚠️ NOTE: Due to the high volume of data generated with an impact on stock availability, the synchronization of this functionality with all documents generated in the factory (and picks) is performed incrementally. For BRAINR users, this means that stock control will only become fully operational, with maximum performance, a few days after release. This is expected to happen during the second week of July.

A new functionality has been created to manage line stops in *Production Orders*, allowing stops to be performed in real time, with more flexibility and in just a few clicks.

  • Within the PO, the user only needs to go to “Change Status”, click “Stop”, and declare the reason for the pause. Then, when restarting the PO, BRAINR automatically calculates the duration of the stop. All this without having to fill in other fields as before.

  • NOTE 1: If the operator does not declare the reason at the moment of the pause, BRAINR will assume “No reason”.

  • NOTE 2: A second process remains available for recording line stops deferred in time, meaning they can be declared after the actual stop has occurred.

The user experience in the Stops List application has been improved. More specifically:

  • Filter improvements: it is possible to filter stops by reason and by workstation, providing a more effective and targeted search.

  • Stops List: the list is now displayed in descending order by start date, making it easier to quickly identify the most recent stops.

A new Sections List dashboard application has been created with the aim of creating standard dashboards by section (e.g., Slaughter, Cutting, Transformation, etc.).

  • These improvements aim to show only relevant information to users in each section and make access more immediate and simple.

Several improvements have been implemented in the Slaughter Plans application, namely when creating or editing Slaughter Plans, the line manager is now automatically associated by the system, making the process faster and reducing the risk of manual errors.

📱 Mobile

A new functionality has been implemented in the picking application for *Production Orders*, where:

  • operators can define the location of materials in production directly in picking, namely:

    • Co-products: destination location;

    • Raw materials: source location;

    • Raw material losses: destination location;

    • Raw material returns: destination location.

  • The old notifications have also been replaced with clearer, more intuitive notifications aligned with the BRAINR design system.

The user experience in the Stock Transfers application has been improved so that transfers are listed by product instead of by location, making management more intuitive for users.

🪩 Back-Office

A new functionality has been implemented in the Warehouses section, allowing users to view, add, edit, or delete product stock groups and product stock types in a simple and intuitive way. This functionality gives users greater flexibility in warehouse stock management.

🎯 Bug Corrections

🌐 Web Application

An error has been fixed in the MRP application that prevented the Production Version of a product from being automatically updated when the production line of a Production Order was changed. With this fix, the update happens automatically, remaining aligned with the valid version associated with the newly selected line.

An improvement has been made to Production Orders with Slaughter Plans, where whenever a production order with an associated slaughter plan is canceled, the plan now becomes available again to be reused in another production order — avoiding waste and increasing planning flexibility;
