What’s new: new inventory module; production order creation, shipping and reception picking with fewer clicks; improved UX in Slaughter.
🆕 Improvements & New Functionalities
🌐 Web Application
✅ The Inventory Documents application has been redesigned to give inventory managers greater control and flexibility and streamline warehouse operators’ work. More specifically:
The inventory manager can now create counting requests by warehouse and product, and has full control over when to make them available, manually moving them to open status;
Requests are immediately visible in the mobile application, and operators are directed to the right warehouses, which reduces unnecessary travel and speeds up the counting process;
Operators perform the picks with the scanner and submit the results, ensuring speed, simplicity, and the elimination of errors associated with manual records;
The inventory manager can then analyze the submitted results line by line, product by product, with full visibility and decision-making ability for each discrepancy;
If differences exist, the manager can request a recount, automatically creating a new related request, while maintaining the complete history of the operation;
The recount is performed on the scanner and submitted for new validation;
Finally, the manager can approve and, if necessary, execute the inventory adjustment, with BRAINR automatically performing the necessary entries and exits, updating the real stock without additional manual actions.
Several improvements have been implemented in Production Order creation with the aim of making the order creation process faster, with fewer clicks and a lower chance of error. These improvements include:
Automatic product category completion: when selecting a product, the system automatically fills in the respective category, speeding up form completion;
Automatic line manager association: when creating a new production order, BRAINR automatically associates the production line manager, avoiding manual errors and ensuring consistency;
Automatic production order group association: the group is automatically suggested based on the line and product configuration;
Production version filtering by line and product: when choosing the production line and product, only the possible production versions are shown;
Improvements have been made to Reception and Shipping documents, which now allow partners with different roles to be associated, such as the partner and/or transport partner, something that was not possible until now.
A new section now exists in the document creation and editing forms where each entity involved can be indicated for each role.
In addition, this information is now visible directly in the document list, with no need to open the detail page.
These changes make documents more complete and aligned with customers’ operational reality, making it easier to consult, complete, and validate who is involved in the process.
Improvements have been made to the user experience across the various Slaughter applications, with the aim of making navigation and decision-making simpler and more effective. The following changes stand out:
The Reorder Slaughter Plan functionality can now be used directly from the Slaughter Plans application — either i) in the plan list, or ii) within each specific slaughter plan;
New columns relevant to slaughter monitoring have been added:
Actual Slaughter Period (start, end, and duration);
Actual Consumed Quantity, with quantity and weight details;
Number of Rejections per reception, for direct quality control;
Some columns have been reorganized to improve readability and reduce visual complexity:
the average weight is now included in the Quantity column;
the period and slaughter duration are grouped into a single column.
A new application has been created for production line management, giving users a clear, global, real-time view of all production orders in progress by line. This application allows users to:
Quickly view the status of each production line;
Access critical information, such as working time, line productivity, and status indicators;
Navigate simply and intuitively between lines and sections, making decision-making and real-time operational monitoring easier.
📱 Mobile
A new functionality has been created in the Picking applications for Reception and Shipping, Warehouse Entries and Exits, allowing internal information such as the product repository or location to be read from or encoded directly in barcodes. This functionality prevents operators from having to manually select where a product should be placed or removed from.
