These new additions will equip your teams with the most relevant skills and insights, helping them learn more effectively and make the most of their time.
The new courses will be available from 29th October. To make space, the current selection will be archived on the same day, so make sure you keep a record of completed courses and encourage outstanding course completions before this date.
By moving to this updated content, you’ll get access to richer learning experiences that support your people to grow and thrive.
There are two Business Ethics courses currently available in Learn. ‘Business Ethics for Managers’ and ‘Business Ethics for Team Members’. The replacement is just ‘Business Ethics’.
New course: Business ethics
Business ethics are moral guidelines which govern good behaviour; therefore, behaving ethically means doing what is morally right. It is vital that staff members uphold these ethics when carrying out their duties at work.
This module has therefore been created to develop learners' understanding of business ethics.

We currently have a ‘Working from home’ course available, and the replacement will be 'Effective practices when working from home'.
New course: Effective practices when working from home
Flexible work arrangements are becoming more common, as more employees can connect remotely to their employer’s network and wish to improve their work-life balance. This affects your organisation as your employees may need to attend to their personal lives during working hours. We have developed this module to assist your employees in working productively from their homes when circumstances prevent them from coming into the office.

‘Office Induction – HR' course will be replaced with ‘Employee Induction’
New course: Employee Induction
This course has been designed to induct new employees into your organisation. It can be tailored to your organisation to give them an overview of your organisation’s history, structure, vision, mission and values, as well as other important information they need to know in relation to their employment. By completing this course, learners will also develop their understanding of the standards of behaviour that are expected from them, therefore easing their transition into your workplace.

‘Office induction – safety’ will be replaced with ‘Health & Safety at work (Great Britain)’ & ‘Health & Safety at work [Northern Ireland]’

Everyone has the right to a safe and healthy work environment. Therefore, every member of the organisation must be aware of their Health and Safety at Work (HSW) responsibilities and relevant HSW legislation. In order to create a hazard and incident-free work environment, everyone must help create, maintain and improve the safety of the workplace. HSW encompasses a wide variety of potential issues, ranging from arranging a workspace correctly to responding to hazards or fires appropriately. This module is designed to give learners an overview of HSW issues and raise their awareness of HSW issues that may arise in the workplace. Target audience: All workers in an organisation.

‘Workplace mental health: team members’ & ‘Workplace mental health for managers’ will be replaced with ‘Mental Health Awareness’.
New course: Mental Health Awareness
According to the UK Mental Health Foundation, mental health conditions are becoming increasingly prevalent in the UK and around the globe. Moreover, mental health conditions are now reported to be the single biggest cause of disability worldwide.
This course aims to provide learners with an understanding of some of the most common mental health challenges people face, and how they can support colleagues with mental health conditions fairly and with respect.

‘Business social media, email & online etiquette’ will be replaced with ‘Business etiquette’.
New course: Business etiquette
Business etiquette refers to the rules that govern polite interaction with colleagues and clients. Practising good business etiquette will enable learners to create a positive impression, maintain a professional and mutually respectful atmosphere, facilitate cross-cultural communication and conduct business effectively. This module is designed to introduce learners to business etiquette, and to demonstrate how business etiquette can differ between cultures.

‘Sexual harassment prevention training: for team members’ will be replaced with ‘Sexual and Sex-Based Harassment Awareness (Great Britain)’
New course: Sexual and Sex-Based Harassment Awareness (Great Britain)
Organisations are required to implement standards and rules that make the workplace a safe space for all their staff. One aspect of a safe work environment is the eradication of all forms of discrimination and harassment. Sexual and sex-based harassment are both forms of harassment that are prohibited by law and must not be tolerated in any workspaces. This module has been developed to increase your staff’s awareness of the different types of sexual and sex-based harassment that exist and what they should do if they witness or experience these types of harassment.

New course: Workplace Harassment and Bullying Awareness (Great Britain)
Workplace harassment and bullying can occur in any organisation and can seriously impact the health of workers and their ability to do their job. This module has been designed to increase learners’ understanding of workplace harassment and bullying and to outline their responsibilities regarding such behaviours.
