With training courses covering topics such as GDPR, information security, discrimination and much more, Breathe's Learn module helps to maintain compliance among your employees.

With the Learn Breathe module, you have access to 4 free courses, these courses are tailored to HR user, line manager and employee permission levels.

Once you subscribe to the Learn module, you'll have access to 38 additional Learn courses.

To get started with Learn, free courses are automatically available in the Breathe account, accessible by clicking 'learn' on the left bar from any page.

Admin users can enable the Learn module and unlock chargeable courses by clicking the Upgrade box icon next to 'learn' in the left hand menu, or by heading to Configure > Settings > Modules > Additional modules and switching Learn to 'on'.

Employees can access their assigned courses from their personal dashboards under the 'My courses' tile.

Only HR users have access to assign users to courses within the Learn module.

To view the list of available courses, users can navigate to Learn from any page.

You can see all the courses available to your people. For each course, you'll see the name of the course, how long it should take, how many people have the course assigned to them & how many people have completed the course.

You can also view available courses by Category by using the filter option at the top of the page...

Click on the arrow in the actions column next to a course, and you'll see the course's description, name, estimated duration, and the audience of the course:

To assign a course to your people click either assign people or the add people icon:

Choose your audience, whether completion is required, and by when the course needs to be completed, then click assign to course:

Once you assign employees to the course, the audience will be updated.

Please note: Any new starters that match your set audience (i.e. "Everyone", "All HR users" or a certain department, etc.) will automatically see the course on their dashboard under 'MY COURSES' as needing to be completed.

This means that you don't need to manually add new employees to your course audience as they join.

You can see your courses both on your personal dashboard and on the Learn tab of your profile.

Head to My dashboard, and click view courses:

Or you can go to your profile and select Learn:

Choose a course and click the arrow to proceed, then click start course:

When you complete the course, the date of completion will be added.

You can send bulk reminders to those who need a nudge to complete a course by clicking the message icon in the audience header...

Can I create my own courses within the Learn module?

You can't currently build your own courses in the Learn module, but sit tight- this is something we're currently exploring.

Can you preview the courses?

Yes, you are able to view Learn courses before purchasing by pressing the 'eye' icon to the right of the relevant course.

Please note - Whilst you can view the course, any progress or results will not be able to be saved until the module has been activated on your account

Will you be adding any more courses?

Our content team will be working hard to ensure the courses are relevant and up to date, so there is a possibility that new courses may be added down the line.

Can I brand the Learn module for my organisation? The courses are created and managed by us at Breathe, so unfortunately there isn't an option to add your own branding.

What happens if I switch the module off?

If your admin user switches the Learn module off, you will lose any data created within the chargeable courses in your account. The free course information will still be present within Learn.

Do I need to manually add new starters to the course audience as they join the company?

No, If you have a course assigned to 'Everyone' this will also apply to new starters as they join, meaning that you don't need to change the audience and manually assign the course to new starters each time.
