Password Expiry Policy

Set up regular password renewal intervals for your team in a few simple steps.

How to set up a password expiry policy

Step 1: Log in as an Admin and head to Configure > Settings > Security, then select Password expiry policy.

Step 2: Tick the box to Enable password expiry.

Step 3: Click the Password expiry days dropdown and select your required interval:

  • 30 days

  • 60 days

  • 90 days

  • 180 days

  • 365 days

Step 4: Click Save to confirm your changes.

The employee experience

Once enabled by an Admin, when a user's password is due for renewal, they will be prompted with a Choose a new password screen upon logging into their account.

💡 Please note: The new password must be at least 8 characters long, include 1 upper case letter and 1 number, contain no blank spaces at the beginning or end, and must be different from their current password.
