This demonstration will help you understand how to use the %1RME Linked feature in the Builder to optimize your programming efficiency and deliver accurate weight prescriptions for your athletes. Below, we’ll outline two common scenarios for implementing %1RM Linked in your exercise plans.

Scenario 1: Linking to another exercise when the prescribed exercise DOES NOT have saved test results.

If an exercise lacks saved test results, you can link it to another exercise with existing data. Here's how:

  1. Check Test Results:

    • Use the Check 1RME button to view saved test results for your exercise.

    • Identify exercises with sufficient data (e.g., back squat) and ensure they're relevant for linking.

  2. Link to an Exercise:

    • Select the exercise you wish to link (e.g., barbell front squat).

    • Use the dropdown menu to select %1RM Linked and search for the exercise with saved test results (e.g., back squat barbell).

  3. Adjust Ratios:

    • Incorporate a percentage ratio to account for differences between exercises (e.g., 80% of back squat weight for front squat).

    • The system will automatically calculate individual set weights based on the athlete’s saved 1RM.

  4. Review Weight Estimates:

    • Preview each athlete's set weights to confirm accuracy.

Scenario 2: Linking to the Same Exercise with Saved Test Results

If you’re programming the same exercise with existing test results, follow these steps:

  1. Select %1RM Linked:

    • For the same exercise, toggle to %1RM Linked in the Builder.

  2. Adjust Percentages:

    • Modify the percentage (e.g., 85%) to customize the intensity of your prescription.

  3. Confirm Weights:

    • Review the system-generated weights for each athlete, ensuring they align with the saved 1RM.

By leveraging the %1RM Linked feature, you can ensure precise, data-driven programming that meets the unique demands of your athletes.
