Assigning multiple workouts in a single day is a great way to organize training for athletes with morning and afternoon sessions. Our system offers multiple methods to achieve this, allowing coaches and athletes to seamlessly navigate their training schedules.

In this video, we demonstrate three different workflows for assigning multiple workouts per day in the BridgeAthletic builder as well as on the phone from the athlete's perspective.

Option 1: Creating Two Separate Calendar-Assigned Programs

One way to structure multiple daily workouts is by creating two distinct programs assigned to the calendar.

  • Create a program titled AM Lifts and another titled PM Lifts.

  • Assign each program to the athlete’s calendar on the same day.

  • This setup allows athletes to easily distinguish between their morning and afternoon training sessions while also setting a schedule for the workout days.

Option 2: Labeling Phases Separately for Easy Navigation

Another approach is to structure a single program with separate phases for morning and afternoon workouts.

  • Within the program builder, create two phases: one labeled AM Lifts and the other PM Lifts.

  • Athletes will see both options on their app and can swipe left or right to begin the appropriate session.

Option 3: Using a Playlist Program and Customizing Workout Names

For a more flexible approach, you can use a playlist program and modify workout names to indicate multiple sessions.

  • Create a Playlist Program and assign multiple workouts within a single training day.

  • Edit the workout names (e.g., "Day 1 - AM: Lower Body" and "Day 1 - PM: Upper Body").

  • This allows workout completion flexibility while also being able to assign and manage a single program.

Each of these methods provides a unique way to manage multiple daily workouts. The best option depends on your team’s workflow and how you want athletes to complete their training.
