Uploading Videos in the Exercise Library

How to upload exercise video clips using direct upload, YouTube links, and Vimeo links.

Written by Lauren Johnson

Add short demo videos to your custom exercises to give athletes clear and visual instructions with a goal to improve movement quality.

For new exercises, videos can be added when you're creating the exercise.

Video Requirements

To ensure videos upload quickly and play smoothly for athletes, make sure they meet the following requirements:

  • File types: .mp4 or .mov

  • Resolution: up to 480p for best results

  • Length: 15–30 seconds recommended (30 seconds max)

Shorter videos load faster and reduce buffering, especially on mobile devices with weaker connections.

Bridge Tip: For seamless playback, longer-length exercise videos can be uploaded via YouTube or Vimeo.

How to Upload a Video in the Exercise Library

The fastest way to add videos is directly from the Exercise Library table.

  1. Navigate to Library > Exercises.

  2. Find the exercise you want to add a video to.

  3. In the Video column, you'll see two buttons: Add URL and Upload Video.

  4. To add a link: Click Add URL and paste a YouTube or Vimeo URL.

  5. To upload a file: Click Upload Video and select a video file (.mp4 or .mov) from your computer.

If the exercise already has a video, hover over the Video column to see the play button and options to update the link or upload a new file.

Option 2: Add a Video from the Exercise Detail View

You can also add videos by opening an individual exercise.

  1. Go to your Training Library and open the Exercises tab.

  2. Search for an existing exercise, or click New Exercise to create one.

  3. In the Media module, choose how to add your video:

    • Import to upload from your computer

    • Import from YouTube to paste a YouTube link

  4. Click Save.
