Phases allow you to break up a training program into multi-week blocks, each with its own focus and training goals. This guide walks you through adding phases to your programs from the Program Assignment page.
Steps to Add a Phase
From your Training Library, click into the program you'd like to edit or build a new program from scratch
In the program editor, locate the Phase Overview on the left side, which displays your existing phases with their names, descriptions, weeks, and days.
Click Add Phase at the top of the phase list.
Choose one of the following options from the dropdown menu:
New Phase – Build your phase from scratch
Template Phase – Use an existing phase template
From Existing Programs – Add a phase from another program
Training Engine – Fully generate a phase based on your selections.
If you select New Phase, enter the phase name and an optional description to help identify the training focus, then begin building your workouts.
To add additional phases, repeat steps 3–5. Your changes save automatically as you work.
Reordering Phases
You can reorder phases directly from the Phase Overview on the left sidebar by dragging and dropping them into your preferred sequence.
Bridge Tips:
Use descriptive phase names that reflect training goals (such as "Foundation," "Max Strength," or "Power") to help coaches and athletes understand the program structure and progression at a glance.
Changes save automatically, so you can edit and switch between phases without worrying about losing your work.
