Advisors should create a 'Test' student account to access, explore, and experience BridgeU from a student’s perspective.
To create a test student account, please follow the steps below:
Step 1: Click on the Students tab from your menu
Step 2: Click on +Add Student in the top right corner.
Step 3: Enter a first name and last name for the test student. To easily identify this account, you can use:
First name: Test
Last name: Your name (e.g., Test Sara)
Step 4: Since your school email address is in use for your advisor account, please use a valid alternative email address for your 'Test' student account. This email will receive the invitation to register as a student.
Step 5: Select a graduation year that is in the past (e.g., 2017 or 2018) to ensure the test student is not included in current student reports. Also, make sure to assign yourself as the advisor.
Step 6: Click Submit to create the student account.

Note: The content feed on a student’s dashboard is based on their graduation year. To view this content, you can either impersonate a real student’s dashboard or update the test student’s graduation year to a recent year and refresh the page.
