Advisors/Counselors assigned to a student can be updated at any time. Before making any changes, please ensure that the new advisor already has an active BridgeU account.
To change a student’s advisor, please follow the steps below:
Step 1: Navigate to Students tab.
Step 2: On the Students tab, use the search box to find and select the student whose advisor you want to update.
Step 3: Click the Edit Student (pen) icon to open the student’s edit page.
Step 4: From the Assigned Advisor menu you can select the new advisor from the list, then click Update to save and apply the changes.
Once updated, the newly assigned advisor will have access to the student and will be responsible for supporting them going forward.
