Analytics: Shortlist Dashboard

The Shortlists Report in Analytics allows you to analyse students’ shortlisted choices and gain insights into their preferred universities, courses, and countries interests. It combines high-level summaries with detailed data to support effective advising.


Accessing the Shortlists Report

To view the report, navigate to the Analytics section from the main menu and click on the Shortlists tab.

You can refine the report using the following filters:

  • Advisor

  • Graduation Year

  • Country

  • University

These filters help you focus on specific student groups and analyse shortlist trends more effectively.


Snapshot Overview

The report displays key metrics in snapshot tiles for a quick summary:

  • Total Students – Total number of students in the report

  • Students With Shortlists – Number of students who have added at least one shortlist university.

  • Total Shortlists – Total number of shortlisted universities

  • Shortlists Per Student – Average number of shortlists per student

These tiles provide a quick overview of student engagement with the shortlist feature.


Most shortlisted (Graph View)

The Most shortlisted section shows a visual breakdown of popular university choices.

  • Displays a bar chart of the top 10 shortlisted universities

  • Can be grouped by Universities, Courses and Countries interests. (via the “Group by” dropdown)

This helps you quickly identify which universities are most popular among your students.


Student Data Table & Exporting the Report

Below the graph, you’ll find a detailed table displaying student name, student email, graduating year, university, course, and country.

To download the data:

  • Click Export this to CSV

  • Open it in your preferred spreadsheet tool for further analysis.
