As a BridgeU advisor, you can easily edit application outcomes for your students.
If you prefer students update this information themselves, share this article with your students to guide them through the process.
Step 1: After logging in to your BridgeU Advisor account, navigate to Students on the left hand side navigation bar.
Step 2: Filter your list of students to the current graduating cohort. If you are part of a larger team, you can also filter the advisor so you only see the students assigned to you.
Step 3: Click on a specific student’s name to view their Student details overview.
Step 4: In the Applications section you can see all of the student’s applications as well as the most up-to-date status of those applications.
Step 5: To update an application outcome, locate the relevant application and click the Status dropdown. Available options include Shortlisted, Application Started, Application Sent, Accepted, Unsuccessful, Waitlisted, Deferred, and Withdrawn. If you need to remove an existing status, select Clear Status. Any changes made will be saved automatically and reflected immediately in the student's application record.
Step 6: If the student has confirmed their final destination, mark the relevant application as Attending. A checkmark will appear in the Attending column to indicate the student's chosen institution.
Additionally, by Clicking on the Edit button in the top-right corner of the Applications section. You will be redirected to the student's applied applications list, where all applications submitted or added for the student are displayed. From here, you can review and manage the student's application records.
Note: For UCAS applications, you may update your students' UCAS applications outcomes into your school's BridgeU account via Bulk Import (instructions).
