When creating or editing a booking, you can override the price on any experience line item on a per-booking basis. This is useful for VIP clients, custom quotes, or one-off situations where the standard price doesn't apply.
How to Override a Price
Open the booking:
New booking — click New booking at the top of the left sidebar, then add the experience in the Itinerary builder.
Existing booking from Bookings — click Bookings in the left sidebar, click the booking to open it, then click Edit (top right).
Existing booking from the Trip calendar — click Trip calendar in the left sidebar, click the trip, click Manage booking in the pop-up, then click Edit (top right).
In the Itinerary builder, click on the price of the line item. The Edit price and discount modal will open.
Under Edit price, toggle Override on.
Choose your price model — Subtotal or Per person price — and enter the new amount.
Click Save in the modal, then click Save in the top right of the page.
On an existing booking, the Review changes before saving window opens. Check the price change, then click Confirm and Save to apply the new price.
If the client has already paid and the new price is lower, the Confirm update to booking window opens so you can refund the difference. See Understanding the Confirm Update to Booking Window. If the new price leaves a balance due, you'll be prompted to send an invoice or collect payment.
💡 Tip: While you're in the Edit price and discount modal, you can also set a line item discount using the Set discount toggle. See Discount a Specific Experience in a Booking for more details.
What Happens When You Override
This does not appear as a discount or add-on.
It updates the price only for that specific booking.
Processing fees and booking fees automatically recalculate.
Ideal for VIP clients, unique situations, or quick on-the-fly adjustments.
If you find yourself overriding often, it may be worth updating the experience configuration.
