Understanding how to edit your booking confirmation

Edit your booking confirmation's message content and call-to-action button so clients get a confirmation that sounds like you from the moment their trip is booked.

Your booking confirmation is the first message a client receives once their trip is officially booked. Because this email becomes the anchor for all post-booking communication, Brindlechute lets you customize it to fit your operation—both the message content and the call-to-action button.

Editing the Message and the Button

To edit your booking confirmation:

  1. Click your Organization name in the top-left corner of the dashboard and select Notifications

  2. Under Client, open the Booking Confirmation template

  3. Edit the message content to match your voice—add a warm welcome, what happens next, or anything clients should know right away

  4. Edit the text on the call-to-action button. By default it reads View Itinerary, but you can change it to language that fits your trips

To insert client, booking, or organization details into the message, see How to Use Automatic Fields in Emails and SMS.

For more on how client templates work, see Explaining each Client Notification in Brindlechute.

Why This Matters

The booking confirmation sets the tone for everything that follows. A message written in your voice reassures clients they're in good hands, and a clear call-to-action button gets them into their itinerary—where trip details, documents, and guest invitations live. A few thoughtful edits here pay off across every booking.
