The Guide Payments table is flexible: you can choose which columns appear, apply filters, and arrange things exactly the way you work. Saved views let you capture that setup by name so you never have to rebuild it. Set up a payroll view, a "this month's payouts" view, or anything else your operation runs on, and switch between them in a click.
Your view stays put
Any changes you make to the Guide Payments table — which columns appear and in what order, filters applied, columns pinned — are saved automatically. Refresh the page or come back tomorrow, and you'll find the table exactly as you left it.
For the setup itself, see How to Customize Columns in Guide Payments and How to Filter Guide Payments.
Pinning columns
Each column has a pin icon beside its name. Click the pin to freeze that column in place — pinned columns stay visible as you scroll horizontally across the table, so you always have context for the row you're looking at. For example, pin Experience name or Guide to keep it on screen while you scroll through payment details. Click the pin again to unpin the column.
Saving a view
Set up the table the way you want it — choose your columns, pin the ones you want frozen, and apply any filters
Click Save updates in the top right and select Create new view
In the Create new view window:
View name — give your view a name (for example, "Gina's Payroll")
Description — optionally describe what the view is for
Save to — choose who can use it:
Personal — the view is only visible to you
Organization level — the view is visible and editable to everyone in your organization
Click Save
Switching between views
Your saved views live in the view selector at the top left of the Guide Payments table, which shows the name of the view you currently have loaded. Click it to open the list, organized into two groups:
Personal views — views only you can see
Organization views — views shared with everyone in your organization
Select any view to load its columns, order, pins, and filters instantly.
Editing a view
When you make changes while a saved view is loaded — adjusting columns, pins, or filters — click Save updates and choose what to do with those changes:
Save to current view — saves your changes to the existing view
Create new view — keeps the original and saves your changes as a separate view
You can also discard your changes to return the view to how it was before.
Tip: Organization-level views are a great way to standardize how your team works. Set up a payroll view once, save it to the organization, and everyone processes payments from the same picture. Keep in mind that anyone in your organization can edit an organization-level view, so changes apply for the whole team.
Your view shapes your exports
The columns in your active view do more than change what's on screen — they also determine what's included when you export. Using Export current view downloads only the columns selected in the view you have loaded, so saving a view is also a way to save a repeatable export format. If you need every available column instead, use Export all or Export by year, which include all columns regardless of your view. Learn more in How to Export Guide Payments.
