Important: Leads import and update every hour but will only import if they meet the lead import rules.

In this guide, we'll walk you through the things required for importing leads from Follow Up Boss (FUB) and the steps to troubleshoot if a lead fails to import
Lead import rules
If you're facing issues with lead imports, the first step is to confirm if the lead meets the necessary requirements. Here's what you need to check:
Minimum criteria for import
Must have an email address
The lead's has had activity within the last 30 days
If the lead is intended to be imported as a seller, the "Seller" tag must be added
Ensure the lead includes the full address, this includes the postal code, city, and address
Note: These requirement can be bypassed if the lead is tagged with "hot prospect" or "BrokerBlocks."
Why a lead isn't importing
No email or source ID
Leads staged as Closed, Cold, bad, or Nurture
Leads with no activity in the last 30 days won't be imported
Troubleshooting
If a lead fails to import, follow these steps to troubleshoot:
Log in to Follow Up Boss
Click 'People' in the top left corner of the FUB dashboard
βSearch for the specific lead you want to check
Check the leads stage and tags
Open the lead to view detailed information
Check for any missing lead requirements
Look under the "Details" section to view assigned stage and tags
Adding or Modifying Tags
If necessary, add tags to meet import requirements.
Click on the "+ " icon to start adding tags.
Create new tags if required by typing the tag name in the search bar and selecting the option to create a new tag.

After adding or modifying tags, click the 'Save Tag' button to apply the changes.
Review the tag section to ensure all necessary tags are attached for successful lead import into BrokerBlocks.
