What are Payment Fees?
Payment fees are the fees applied by Stripe, our online payment partner, to transactions that take place through our platform.
These fees are similar to any other payment system, such as payment terminals or Paypal for example.
How do we bill these Payment Fees to you?
At bsport, we advance you the expenses of payment fees that Stripe takes from us in real-time when the payments are made.
Then we bill you the sum of these expenses, that we advanced to you, at the beginning of the following month, with your subscription bsport.
You will thus be able to find these payment fees in your bsport invoices, under the name Payment fee. To see this, go to Settings > bsport subscription. Select the invoice you are looking to checking under "My Invoices". At the bottom of your invoice you will see the Payment fees for the previous month's transactions with Stripe.
⚠️ Transaction fees are calculated using the rates mentioned in your contract, specifically in section 4 which details the rates applied ⚠️
How to track your Payment Fees?
At bsport, we want to maintain transparency with our customers this is why you can follow in real-time your transaction fees.
To do this, you can follow these steps:
Go to the Reporting tab and create a Payments report
You will then be able enter the date range that you wish to track the transaction fees for.
You then select "Generate Report".
And there you have it! 🎉
All payments registered on the platform for the selected dates appear, along with their associated transaction fees
It is important to note that the Transaction Fees are only calculated on transactions through the platform. This does not include manual payments.
Bonus step: if you wish to see only payments that include fees, click on Add a filtered view, then add the filter rule "Transaction fees" are "Bigger than or equal to" 0,001.
