You can either choose elements of personalization that will impact all your calendars (in case you have several calendars, for example one for each location: Bsport Paris, Bsport Barcelona..) or settings that will only impact one calendar at a time
Step 1 - set up the general calendar settings
Customize the general settings that will have an impact on the Marketplace AND the widget of :
calendar(s) (card and list format)
workshops (simple sessions and grouped sessions)
To do so, go to "Settings" > "Personalization"
Then check out this article about calendar setup
Once you have set up the general personalization settings of your calendar(s), you can customize the display of each of your calendars on the marketplace
Step 2 - set up the calendar(s) specific to the marketplace
Personalize even more your calendar or differentiate a calendar from another on the marketplace
For a general introduction about how to customize your marketplace, please read this article
You can then go to "Settings" > "marketplace settings", and choose which calendar you want to edit
Once you clicked on the "See more options" button you can adjust the settings that will be specific to your calendar tab. Note that you will have to click on "save" after each modification to update the member calendar view
You can choose how the calendar will be displayed whereas it is :
Weekly view (list)
Weekly view (card). Note that with this display the cards can appear quite small on the mobile view, if your members are used to booking sessions on mobile, we recommend that you select the responsive display just below
Responsive display: the calendar will be in card view for desktop and list view for mobile to make it more mobile-friendly for your members
Daily view to show only today's sessions
For the card and responsive views, you can choose to separate morning, afternoon, and evening sessions. If you have a lot of free timeslots during the week we recommend turning off this setting so that sessions are displayed one below the other.
Decide what information is going to be highlighted in the title of the session
The activity
The teacher. You can adjust how the teacher name is highlighted by changing the general calendar setup
The schedule
Choose if you want to filter the calendar to display sessions of only one or selected teachers. All teachers' sessions will be displayed by default if the field is left empty. Note that the member can still choose to remove filters from the calendar by clicking on the "teacher" button on the right
Choose if you want to filter the calendar to display sessions of a selected location only if you have several. This setting is available only for certain managers' subscriptions, please contact your account manager if you wish to have access to this setting
Choose if you want to filter the calendar to display sessions of only one or selected establishments if you have several. All establishments' sessions will be displayed by default if the field is left empty. Note that the member can still choose to remove filters from the calendar by clicking on the "establishment" button on the right
Choose if you want to filter the calendar to display sessions of only one or selected activities. All activities' sessions will be displayed by default if the field is left empty, Note that the member can still choose to remove filters from the calendar by clicking on the "activity" button on the right
Choose if you want to filter the calendar to display sessions of only one or a few selected levels. If the field is left empty, sessions of all levels will be displayed by default. Note that the member can still choose to remove filters from the calendar by clicking on the "level" button on the right.
Once you customized your calendar(s) on the marketplace, you can do the same thing with your calendar widget.
Step 3.1 - set up the calendar(s) widget
Customize the widget of your calendar(s). You can create as many calendar widgets as you need to, by copy-pasting the widget code with the wanted settings several times on your website.
However, it will have no impact on the calendar(s) in the marketplace. If you want the calendar(s) of the marketplace to match the one(s) of the widget(s), you simply have to define the same settings for both
You will need to go to "Settings" > "Widget" > "General"
Then check out this article about how to integrate a Calendar widget on your website and configure the general settings that are identical of the ones we saw in Step 2
Step 3.2 - customize the widgets
Once you integrated the calendar widget, you can go to the customization tab to personalize it in "Settings" > "Widget" > "Customisation"
Then check out this article about how to customize the general theme of the widgets.
The settings you define here will impact all your widgets (workshop, passes, calendar) at the same time to keep graphic consistency on your platform.
You can preview the widget by clicking on the "Widget settings" button and selecting the settings to be defined in Step 3-1
Step 3.3 - improve the CSS of your calendar(s) widget
If you need even more customization for the widgets to blend into your website, you can go to "Settings" > "Widget" > "Custom CSS"
Note that all modifications made in the "Custom CSS" tab have priority by default on what has been made on the "customization" tab. However, the two can work together as long as the CSS rule does not exist in the custom CSS.
And choose "Calendar" in "Choice of the widget" to display the CSS of the session details
You can then modify the CSS as you like to customize how session details are displayed, preview the results on the left of the screen, and click on "save" when it matches your needs.
Note that these modifications in the CSS will impact all the versions of the widget selected (hence all of your calendars if you have several) but not all other widgets (passes, subscriptions).
By opening the drop-down "Variations" on the right, you can preview what it would look like depending on the settings that are defined in Step 3.1
