🔄️ Google Playstore and Apple Store are constantly reviewing their policies and requirements.

Now, it is very important to fill in the BackOffice all this information:

  • Activities:

    • Name of the activity

    • Studio and city of the activity

    • Description of the activity

    • Have at least one slot for the activity

  • Teachers / instructors:

    • Name of the instructors

    • Picture of the instructors

    • Description of the instructors (at least one sentence)

🚫 It is forbidden, by Apple Store and Google Playstore policy, to post obscene images or descriptions (such as making obscene gestures or mentioning sensitive parts such as buttocks).

🔎 To check if your Back Office settings meet the specifications, take a look at the checklist below, as well as Apple and Google documentation:

IMPORTANT TO CHECK :

👉🏽 no special characters, weird lettering in the name and the description 👉🏽 no emoticon in the name and the description 👉🏽 no signs in the name and the description 👉🏽 no obscene words in the name and the description 👉🏽 4000 characters maximum for the description 👉🏽 The app's name should not exceed 30 characters 👉🏽 the studio needs to set up his back-office properly :

  • [ ] Some passes created and configured

  • [ ] Activities (or appointments) with both pictures and description (ie an appropriate description for the activities, not only "YOGA" for instance)

  • [ ] At least one activity that is not "online" (ZOOM etc) with at least one session in the future

  • [ ] The LOGO, COLORS have to be set-up on the back-office !

If not done, there is a 50% of chance that Apple and Google will reject the app release.

You can also check out App Store Review Guidelines, which covers the technical, content, and design criteria that Apple uses to review all apps. Some of the key points are:

    • An app icon should be simple, recognizable, and avoid graphic elements that may mislead users.

  • For the Google Playstore, you can check out Create and set up your app, which explains how to create your app and set it up using Play Console.
