To help parents find the right sitters for their family more easily there are lists of sitters on the homepage depending on area and what qualities we think a particular parent profile will value.
What lists might I see?
If parents have favourites they will always appear in the first list. "Friends' sitters" will appear next showing sitters that those trusted friends have either completed a positive booking with.
Other lists include
Local stars - highly experienced sitters within 3 miles of you
Key occupations like "Nursery workers" or "Professional nannies" or "Teachers"
New to Bubble - people who have been newly approved on Bubble in your area
Personality Traits like "Musical" or "Outdoorsy"
Specific relevant skillsets for your family like "Newborn experience" or "Has a car"
How do sitters appear on the lists?
Depending on the specific list we show an initial list of sitter's based on their recent engagement on Bubble, booking activity and rating, proximity to parent location and a number of other performance and profile factors. If there are more sitters within that category parents can click "See more sitters" to see others.
Within each sitter card we highlight some or all of the following depending if its available
whether a sitter has worked with friends of the parents
number of completed bookings
rating %
how many families rebook
distance and hourly rate
How do I use Lists?
You are able to click through the sitter profiles from these lists, favourite them, or click on the ➕ to add them to a request.
You can also filter who is available for a particular time and date using the little filter icons above a list. When you select a time and date, then click "Apply Filter" the list will only show sitters who have their calendars marked as available.
If you filter a list and then add some sitters to a request with the ➕ the request will load with that filtered time and date pre-set.
