Why is Sitters.co.uk joining Bubble?
Sitters.co.uk has joined Bubble to bring together two trusted childcare platforms into one larger network. This allows us to offer families access to more sitters, more booking types, and an improved overall experience.
What does this mean for Sitters.co.uk?
Sitters.co.uk is now part of Bubble. Over time, activity will move onto the Bubble platform so that families and sitters can benefit from a single, larger network.
Will Sitters.co.uk still exist?
We’ll be transitioning activity to Bubble, where future bookings will take place. We’ll keep you updated throughout the process to make this as smooth as possible.
Getting started
How do I register with Bubble?
The next time you start posting a booking request on Sitters.co.uk, you’ll be shown a page where you can share your information with us. If you follow the instructions, your profile information will be transferred over seamlessly. The process only takes a few minutes.
When should I do this by?
There’s no deadline per se, but we’d recommend transferring to us quickly so that any sitters that have worked for you before can continue receiving requests.
Your account & bookings
Do I need to do anything?
To continue sending booking requests to sitters, you’ll need to move over to us. As long as your sitters move over to us too, they will automatically be linked to you once you log into Bubble.
Will my Sitters.co.uk profile be transferred automatically?
Once you transition over to us, your information will be seamlessly transferred. This will ensure your details are up to date and you’ll be ready to start making bookings on the new platform.
What happens to my existing bookings?
Any existing confirmed bookings will continue as planned on the Sitters platform. Any new bookings, confirmed after the 3rd of August will take place on Bubble.

Will my subscription continue?
We will transfer your subscription along with your profile information — you’ll need to re-verify your payment information with us.
What are the fees?
As a subscriber, you’ll pay no booking fees with us. There is a 5% Trust & Safety fee on each booking, which goes towards platform maintenance, sitter verification and investing in future features.
Is Bubble similar to Sitters.co.uk?
Yes — Bubble is also a trusted childcare platform connecting sitters with families, with a strong focus on flexibility and ease of use.
What if I need help during the transition?
Support will be available throughout the transition. If you have questions about existing bookings, you can contact Sitters.co.uk support. If you have any questions about Bubble or need help getting set up with your new account, you can contact support@joinbubble.com and we’ll guide you through the process.
Will my profile information, booking history and favourite sitters be transferred?
We will bring over as much of your profile information as possible — there may be a delay in bringing all your booking history information over, but the goal is to have as much history as possible. You’ll be automatically linked to your favourite sitters, as long as they also transition to us. We’d recommend nudging them to move across to continue booking them!
Platform differences
How is Bubble different from Sitters.co.uk?
On both Bubble and Sitters.co.uk, parents can request sitters for work and manage bookings in the app, with tracked payments and a history of bookings. We also allow parents to search for petcare and household tasks, and have a wider range of features to help parents find the sitters they need.
Is there an app I need to download?
You’ll need to download the Bubble Childcare app, available on both iOS and Android.
How do bookings work on Bubble?
Very similarly to on Sitters.co.uk, parents can send out requests in their area to available sitters. Sitters then apply, the parent sees their profiles, then they pick someone for their booking. The booking is timed in the app automatically, and once either you or the sitter end the sit, you’ll see the breakdown before paying. The sitter then gets paid through to their bank account directly.
Timing & logistics
When will bookings fully move to Bubble?
We will endeavour to bring over as much of your profile, including your booking history, after you transition to us. This may take some time, given the technical processes required. Any already-confirmed bookings on the Sitters.co.uk platform will still take place here.
