Although having a bio is only mandatory for sitter accounts, we highly encourage parents to write them too as we know that babysitters are faster and generally more likely to accept booking requests when they can read up a little bit more about the parent requesting them.

Add your bio from Account > My Profile > About your family

It's another way to quickly build some confidence and trust between you and a babysitter.

Something like the bio below works just fine:

“Hey there! We’ve got two bright and bubbly kids - Oli is 7 and Jess is 4. Both love playing outdoors, reading books and fooling around with our dog Eddie! We are vegetarians so we prefer to keep our home meat-free. We practice gentle parenting so get down on the level with our kids to work through disputes and would appreciate sitters to support us in this. "
