Creating a Change Order
To create a new Change Order go to the Change Order module and click on the plus sign to get started:
Fill in the required fields such as Title, Description, and Due Date:
Note: there is no TO field as change orders are automatically sent to the client of the selected project
Then go to the 2nd tab (Price Calculation )to add a budget category relation:
On this next page you can relate the budget category, amount of the change, and description:
Click Save and then ADD:
Once added the email goes out automatically to the client for their approval. They can either log in to approve or approve directly from within the sent notification. To approve by logging in they can visit the Change Order and click the yellow pending icon, an electronic signature dialog will pop up asking them to sign:
Once signed and approved the budget will be updated to reflect the change.
