Want to insert your own QR code or image in transaction remarks? You can easily do this by uploading your image and adding it using a simple image syntax.
This allows you to display a custom QR code or any image directly in your transaction remarks.
Let’s go through the steps below.
Step 1: Upload Your Image
Go to the website: https://postimages.org/ — no sign-up or login is required.
a. Choose your preferred image size (Optional)
b. Make sure “No Expiration” is selected
c. Upload your image by clicking, pasting, or dragging and dropping the file.
Example: Here, a QR code image is uploaded from the computer to the website.
Suggestion:
It is recommended to resize your image (especially QR codes) to the intended display size before uploading to ensure better clarity and scannability. You may use any image resizing tool of your choice (for example, Simple Image Resizer). Avoid using the website’s resize or compression options during upload, as this may reduce image quality.
Step 2: Copy the Direct Image Link
Once the upload is complete, copy the Direct Link provided by the website.
Example:
Step 3: Replace the Image Syntax
Use the basic markdown image syntax:

Replace image.png with the direct image link (for example: https://i.postimg.cc/q7Rn0RQq/Sample-QR-Code-150x150.png) you copied.
Example outcome:

Step 4: Insert Into Transaction Remarks
After replacing the link, copy the full syntax and paste it into the Remarks field for your transactions.
Apply it to a specific transaction, or set it as a default in Company Settings, depending on your needs.
👉 Refer to Setting Up Remarks for Transactions for detailed steps on where to insert the remarks, if needed.
Example: For a Sales Invoice, paste the image syntax into the Remarks field when creating the invoice.
For a specific invoice only:
Go to: Sales > Invoices > + New → Paste into Remarks
Set as default for all invoices:
Go to: Control Panel > Company Settings > Remarks > Invoice → Paste into Remarks
Final Result
Once the image syntax is added to the Remarks, the QR code or image will be displayed directly on the invoice.
