Creating a Bank Account

Follow the steps below to create a Bank Account.

1. Go to Accounting.

There will be a subcategory under Accounting and click Chart of Accounts.

2. Click +New.

3. Click System Type to select Bank/Cash.

4. Select a Parent account if this is a sub-account.

5. Key in Account Code or the system will autogenerate it.

6. Key in a Name for the account.

7. Add a Description for the Account. *(Optional)

8. Click Save and you're done.

There are other ways to create a bank account.

1. Go to Bank.

There will be a subcategory under Bank and click Accounts.

2. Click +New.

3. Click Type to select the account type.

4. Select Currency.

Note: The default currency is Malaysian Ringgit (MYR).

5. Key in an Account Code or the system will autogenerate it.

6. Key in a Name for the account.

7. Add a Description for the Account. *(Optional)

8. Click Save.
