Introduction
The Bukku User Interface (UI) is designed to be modern and easy to use. It's rich in features yet remains simple, ensuring effortless navigation and organization.
Now, let's explore the key aspects of the Bukku Interface!
Live Chat
If you encounter any issues with Bukku, need assistance recording a transaction, want guidance on using Bukku’s features, or wish to provide feedback for product improvement, our support team is here to help.
Simply click on the Live Chat Button located at the bottom left corner of the Bukku window to connect with us.
To initiate a chat with our support team, click on "Send us a message."
For accessing articles, advice, or answers, click on "Search for help" or "Help" to visit the Bukku Learn Portal.
Main Menu
The main menu is located on the left-hand sidebar of the window.
Clicking on different items within the sidebar will take you to various modules.
Bukku URL
The Bukku URL will be your entry point to access your company’s information.
The accepted URL is within 3 to 20 characters, containing only alphabets and numbers.
Locate your Bukku URL at the top-left corner of the Bukku interface.
In addition to the Bukku URL, there is a dropdown button available.
Click on it to access the list of companies you've previously created, or opt to create a new company by selecting 'New Company'."
You can use a single Bukku account to access and manage multiple companies, allowing you to switch between them easily with the same login email.
Note: One subscription for one company entity only.
Get Started Icon
It is on the top right of your Bukku screen.
Follow the steps to set up your account: company profile, contacts, products, chart of accounts, opening balance, and company settings.
It disappears after 30 days.
Quick Add
Beside the 'Get Started' icon, you'll find the 'Quick Add' icon. Use it to directly add or create transactions without going to the Main Menu."
Quick Search / Global Search
Next, with the 'Quick Search' icon, you can navigate to pages and search transactions by entering keywords.
Notification
The notification icon alerts you in real time about important updates for your business. This includes customer payments, low stock levels, automated statements sent, recurring instructions created, and other events that may require your attention.
User Menu
You'll find the user menu icon at the top right of your Bukku window. You can:
Bukku offers three language options: English, Bahasa Melayu and Chinese.
Click on your preferred language to change the user interface.
Filters
Each module features a consistent UI for Filters.
Expand the advanced filter by clicking 'More Filters'.
Filter options include Date Range, Search, Contact, Payment Mode, Status, Email Tracker, Customer Fields, and more.
Select Columns
The Select Columns icon is available in every Module and Report.
Click the icon to reveal a list of columns, allowing you to toggle their visibility.
Customize your list of transactions and reports by showing or hiding desired columns.
Actions Button & Shortcuts
After saving a transaction, you’ll see the Actions button, along with QuickShare and Add Payment (if applicable).
Below is an example of the Actions dropdown for a Sales Invoice.
Click the Actions button to open a dropdown list of shortcuts — each showing an icon and its label — tailored to that transaction type.
Alternatively, you can access the same shortcuts from the transaction list in each module. Click the three dots (⋯) beside View for a specific transaction to see the available actions.
