Introduction
Introducing 'MyInvois,' a newly added module in Bukku Accounting that allows you to better track all transactions, along with their MyInvois actions and document status.
Let’s explore what you can do with this new module!
Bukku Transactions
At MyInvois > Bukku Transactions, you can view transactions such as invoices, credit notes, purchase bills, and purchase credit notes created in Bukku, along with their document status.
This section allows you to easily submit transactions created in Bukku to LHDN MyInvois.
Filtering of Bukku Transactions
You can easily search for transactions by filtering them based on Transaction Type and MyInvois action.
Understanding Bukku Transactions and MyInvois Status
In the Bukku Transaction listing, you can view:
MyInvois Action – what action has be taken on the transaction
MyInvois Ready Status – whether the transaction is ready for MyInvois submission
Document Status – the validation status of the transaction
Examples:
Normal Transaction, MyInvois-ready contact
MyInvois Control: Normal
Transaction Status: MyInvois-ready
Document Status: None
Meaning: The invoice is saved as Normal for consolidated e-invoice submission, even though the contact and products/services are MyInvois-ready. It has not yet been validated as an e-invoice. Customers can still request an e-invoice within the invoice month.
Normal Transaction, Non-MyInvois-ready contact
MyInvois Control: Normal
Transaction Status: Non-MyInvois-ready
Document Status: None
Meaning: The invoice is saved as Normal for consolidated e-invoice submission. Since the contact is non-MyInvois-ready, it has not yet been validated as an e-invoice. Customers can still request an e-invoice within the invoice month.
Validated Transaction
MyInvois Control: Validate
Document Status: Valid
Meaning: The invoice has been submitted and validated as an e-invoice directly. The document is officially valid.
💡 Tip: Transactions can belong to any contact type (green checkmark icon = MyInvois-ready, orange exclamation mark = non-MyInvois-ready), all can be included in a consolidated submission.
Bulk Submit Transactions
If you have multiple invoices to submit to LHDN, you can now select them all at once and use the 'Bulk Submit Transactions' option to submit them in one go, instead of individually clicking each one.
Each invoice will be submitted individually for validation, so this feature does not create a consolidated e-invoice—it simply speeds up the submission process without combining documents.
Submission of Consolidated Documents
Navigate to MyInvois > Bukku Transactions > +Consolidated to submit consolidated consolidated documents for invoices, credit notes, self-billed invoices, and self-billed credit notes.
For more details, refer to our article on: Consolidated E-Invoices in Bukku: Submission to LHDN MyInvois and Cancellation.
MyInvois Documents
At MyInvois > MyInvois Documents, you can view the MyInvois status of your transactions submitted to LHDN MyInvois for validation at a glance.
This section provides a historical record of your transactions submitted from Bukku to LHDN MyInvois.
Filtering of MyInvois Documents
You can easily search for transactions by filtering them based on MyInvois status and also toggle to display only list of consolidated documents.
MyInvois Information Submitted to LHDN
When you submit invoices via Bukku, whether individually for validation or as part of a consolidated e-invoice, Bukku automatically sends all the required information to LHDN MyInvois on your behalf.
Individual Validated Invoices
Click ‘View’ to check the information sent to LHDN.
Consolidated E-Invoices
Click ‘View’ to review the individual transactions included in the consolidated e-invoice.
For consolidated submissions, the system automatically:
Changes the legal name to “General Public” and uses the general TIN for the consolidated document.
Assigns the classification code of 004 – Consolidated e-Invoice to all items included in the submission.
Resubmission of Transactions
Submitted an e-invoice that shows as invalid? Don’t worry; you can easily resubmit it from this section.
To resubmit, click on the three dots (…) next to 'View' and select 'Resubmit'.
Alternatively, you can select multiple transactions and use the 'Bulk Resubmit Documents' option.
