Introduction

Just like filling out your personal profile, creating a company profile involves sharing basic information about your business to the system.

It is a summary that communicates essential information about the company entity, ensuring that your company's information is accurately displayed on PDF documents like invoices and bills.

In this article, we'll also walk you through the necessary information to ensure your company profile is updated and prepared for MyInvois submission. The fields with a green checkmark icon indicate that your information is required and ready for MyInvois submissions.

Let's see what you can do at Control Panel > Company Profile.

Company Information

  • Information related to your company.

Legal Name

The legal name of your business entity registered with the local authorities.

Friendly Name

A shorter or friendly name used in email communications.

Registration No. & Type

The registration number of your legal entity.

Use the latest registration number here if you’re given multiple numbers like new and old numbers.

Old Registration No.

The old registration number of your legal entity (Malaysia only).

TIN

The tax identification number (Malaysia only).

MSIC Code

The Malaysian standard industrial classification code, representing your business nature and activity (Malaysia only).

SST Registration No.

The primary SST registration number used for MyInvois purpose if your business is SST registered (Malaysia only).

The system will automatically display your SST registration number, which has been activated at Control Panel > Company Settings > Tax.

Note: It is not required if your business is not SST registered.


Company Contact

  • The contact information for your company.

Contact No.

The primary contact number of your business.

Email Address

The primary email address of your business. *(Optional)

Website URL

The official website address of your business. *(Optional)


Company Addresses

  • The addresses for your company.

  • Click +Address to enter the company's full address.

    • Address Name

    • Street Address

    • City

    • State

    • Country

    • Postcode *(Not required for MyInvois, but recommended to fill in)

  • Tick the boxes for Default Billing or Default Shipping to populate the default address automatically when creating transactions.

  • A Default Billing Address is required for MyInvois.


  • Furthermore, in Company Addresses section, you can click + Address to add multiple addresses for one company.

  • Enter the full address. Name the addresses such as Branch, etc.

  • Additionally, you have an option to assign a specific address to your customised form design. This allows you to designate a particular address for specific documents, differing from the default address.

Company Logo

  • Upload the official logo of your business.

  • The logo will appear on the header of the transactions.

  • 200px x 200px and higher resolution pictures in JPG / PNG format are recommended.

Other Controls

Bukku Key

  • You will see your unique Bukku Key in Company Profile too.

  • Share your Bukku Key with your supplier who is also using Bukku and get connected.

  • Incoming supplier invoices will be automatically generated as draft purchase bills in your account.

Factory Reset

  • There is a Factory Reset function to your company Bukku account.

  • If you're ready to start using Bukku properly after testing transactions or if you've encountered any issues and wish to reset everything, simply click "Clear Data" for a Factory Reset.

  • Only Admin user is able to see the Factory Reset function, and is required to rekey the password to reset.

  • CAUTION: All data will be lost after the factory reset.
