  1. Download the official Mi Fitness app, the dedicated native app for Xiaomi devices and create your account first. Now download the Health Connect app.

  2. For your activity data to be shared, your Xiaomi watch must be properly paired and actively syncing with the official Mi Fitness app on your smartphone. The Healthy Cities app retrieves your data from your Mi Fitness account.

    7. Allow Healthy Cities to access your Health Connect data by toggling Allow all > select Allow to confirm your connection to the Health Connect app.

    8. You'll now be prompted to reopen the Healthy Cities app and see a connection confirmation pop up on your screen. Select Okay to confirm.

10. You'll now be prompted to reopen the Healthy Cities app and see a connection confirmation pop up on your screen. Select Okay to confirm.

Congratulations! Your Xioami device is now connected to Healthy Cities via Health Connect!

⚠️ Please note: It is important that native Mi Fitness App on your device is active and remains in foreground to allow successful syncing of steps with Healthy Cities App.

If your latest activity is not getting reflected in the Healthy Cities app, open and refresh the native Mi Fitness App and ensure steps are getting recorded. Post that Healthy Cities App would show your synced data too.

Connection issues are often caused by an outdated version of the Mi Fitness app. We advise users to keep the Mi Fitness app updated to the latest version and to ensure that all necessary data permissions have been granted to the Health Connect and Healthy Cities app.
