Purpose and Features
Our Click2Connect call product has been updated with a new feature aimed at improving customer satisfaction and user experience. Previously, end users had to follow the path Launcher Icon > Audio Settings > Call Screen to initiate a call. However, in response to different use cases, such as initiating a call from an active chat, mobile app integration, or internal field operations, we added an automatic start link feature to simplify the process to a single click.
With this new feature, the Click2Connect product can now be embedded anywhere using the automatic start link, allowing end users to quickly access the call screen with a single click. (Note: The clicked button is not within our interface. If it’s a chat interaction, the call will directly start in a new tab when the chat redirection button is clicked. Or, in a mobile application, the link can be embedded behind a button that you have integrated, enabling direct use.)
Additionally, the previously used parameter passing via script feature has been preserved, allowing customers who use the link to pass similar parameters through the link as well.
Benefits
User-Friendly Interface: The call initiation process has been reduced from three steps to one. End users can now start a call with a single click, whether in an active chat screen or through integrations like a mobile app.
Flexibility: The script-based parameter addition feature is also available for the automatic start link. This allows customers to easily implement customizations by passing parameters as needed.
Faster Operations: Especially for customers with field operations, this feature provides a quick and practical solution. Accelerating the call initiation process makes workflows more efficient.
Ease of Integration: The Click2Connect product can be easily integrated into mobile apps or websites without the need for additional setup or applications, offering seamless usage.
