Purpose and features
The new phone element in the scripter allows the agent to choose a country from a list to validate the format of the telephone number taken as input in the scripter. You can add the phone element to your scripter using the scripter editor.

Instructions
Go to System Administrator > Scripter module. Create a new scripter or edit an existing one.
Select the Phone element from the menu on the right.
Select Edit Field. You may arrange the countries on the menu.
Filter Country Codes: Select countries to be used for the phone number validation. You may select more than one. Leave blank for all countries.
Preferred Countries: These countries appear at the top of the list. You may select more than one.
Your selections shall be seen as this.
Save the scripter.
During the call, the agent will see the phone element in the scripter according to your setup. Check the example below.
If an incorrect phone format is used, the agent will be notified. If the phone number format is correct, the number will be saved in the reports in E.164 format.
