By analyzing each response for relevance, accuracy, and depth, CampusKnot's AI helps you track engagement, identify learning gaps, and respond more effectively, all without manual grading.
Step 1: Open Your Course Feed
Navigate to your course dashboard and choose between discussions, live Q&A, Anonymous, etc.
Step 2: Add Points to Posts
Step 3: Select Your Grading Criteria
In the 'Add grading criteria', you can type or copy/paste the grading criteria that best align with your learning objectives. Options may include:
Relevance
Accuracy
Depth of response
Critical thinking
We recommend using the SPARC rubric to prevent the use of AI.
Step 4: Auto-Grade with AI
Once your criteria is selected and the Feed post time has ended, the AI will begin evaluating all submitted student responses. This process typically takes a few seconds depending on the number of responses.
Step 5: Review AI-Generated Scores
Once grading is complete, each student response will display an AI-generated score. Review each score to ensure it aligns with your expectations.
Step 6: Adjust Scores If Needed
AI-generated scores are a starting point, not a final grade. If a score does not reflect your assessment, click directly inside the 'edit' option next to the comment to modify the points.
Tips for Best Results
Select criteria that closely match the intent of your prompt. The more specific your feed question, the more accurate the AI evaluation will be.
