There are a few common reasons this might happen and most of the time it’s an easy fix or a simple ‘just leave us running in the background’.
📍Your preferences (salary, location, role type) might be missing, incomplete, or not specific enough.
What I mean by this is in some cases I am seeing candidates leaving their desired salary blank or their location too broad like having ‘United Kingdom’ for example.
Our matching works in line with what you’ve entered on your profile so leaving your salary blank won’t show you every job on the platform, it’ll be a case of very much doing the opposite and not showing you anything (because we don’t encourage free labour and neither do the brands using our platform) so it’s important you enter an amount in line with what makes financial sense to you - that said, if you're unsure what the industry is looking like for your role reach out to the Candid team who can have a chat and make suggestions on what you could pop into these fields.
Then a few other things to consider:
💭 Your profile might not yet reflect the kind of role you’re looking to move into
🌙 We simply might not have the right roles live just yet.
Our matching works to make sure you’re only seeing roles that genuinely make sense for you so it’s much less about quantity and more about quality.
💡 Top tip: Make sure your profile is fully up to date, especially your role preferences and salary expectations. This gives you the best chance of being matched accurately.
And don’t forget - new roles are being added all the time, so you can let us sit in the background until we send you an alert.
