Help with IO Errors

Getting an IO Error? Here's what you can try

Updated over a year ago

An IO Error (short for Input/Output Error) occurs when your phone is unable to perform a task like making an outgoing call. This is usually the result of a third-party application blocking the task, such as an anti-virus firewall or poor internet connectivity.

If you are experiencing IO Errors, check if your anti-virus is causing the problem by temporarily disabling it. If you find that your anti-virus is causing IO Errors, but you want to keep your anti-virus enabled, please whitelist the CaptionCall app in your anti-virus settings.

If this doesn't help and you continue to receive IO Errors, please reach out to our customer support team!
