Tracker - How to manage Practitioner Schedules?

Manage each Practitioner’s Schedule to ensure their Office Hours are setup correctly.

Tracker does not have a ‘general office hours’ settings area, and requires you to define the schedules for each individual Practitioner.

To just check (not edit) that your Practitioner Schedules and their Office Hours are correct:

1. Go to the ‘Configuration’ tab → click ‘Office Hours’

2. In the ‘Office Hours’ window that appears → click the Practitioner drop-down menu → check each Practitioner here to ensure that their current schedules are correct.

3. If you need to make any edits, follow the article named “Defining Office Hours” from the Tracker Manual (at the ‘Help’ tab in Tracker's main window) for full instructions and best-practices. Below is an excerpt for reference (click the text below for larger version):

💡Please note:

  • If a Practitioner is assigned to more than one column (chair), CareCru will take consolidate the availability from both columns and present that as the Practitioner's Schedule of working hours.

    • Example #1:
      Practitioner A is assigned to Column 1 and 2

      Column 1 is open from 8am to 4pm
      Column 2 is open from 9am to 5pm

      Therefore, Practitioner A will be available from 8am (earliest time of the 2 columns) to 5pm (latest time of the 2 columns)

    • Example #2:
      Practitioner B is assigned to Column 3 and 4
      Column 3 is open on Thursdays from 8am to 4pm
      Column 4 is closed on Thursdays
      Therefore, Practitioner B will be available from 8am to 4pm even though one of his chairs is closed.

  • Tracker does NOT sync your Office's Weekly Schedule to CareCru due to the way it was designed (it doesn't have a separate area that handles just the Office's Weekly Schedule Hours; it combines them with the Practitioner Schedules). 

    Hence, you'll need to manually set up your 'Default Weekly Schedule' in the 'Office Hours' settings area in CareCru. Click this link:
