Why do some visits have cancel and others remove visit option?
Visits have the option of Cancel vs Remove based on whether the visit cost can be claimed or not.
If NDIS service user then can cancel if visit start time is within 48 hours.
If non-NDIS then can cancel if visit start time is within 24 hours.
If none of above matches then Careflo will show the Remove option.
Cancelling: Choosing to charge or not and whether to pay support worker
When you are notified of a visit cancellation you basically have two main options:
Option 1: Cancel but still charge 90% of the visit. You can also choose to still pay the support worker or not.
Option 2: You can cancel/remove the visit without charging the participant for the visit. You can also choose to still pay the support worker or not.
All options above are accessed within the Cancel button as shown below.ย
