How can I adjust payroll and what is charged to clients?

  1. Payroll adjustments. These are used to add or reduce a support workers payroll hours for a Finance Week. The next Finance Run will then update payroll hours for that week so you can just add the totals per pay band into your payroll system. For instructions and help view this article.

  2. Charge deductions. Use this when you want to provide a discount to the customer.

  3. Charge expenses. Use this when you want to add expenses to the invoice such as parking charges. This option is also used when you manage aged care packages and want to include on the invoice things like lawn mowing and other 3rd Party expenses that you are paying for on behalf of the service user. By adding these expenses here they will be added to the invoice and reclaimed from the service users’s aged care package automatically.

  4. Charge fees. This is a versatile way of adding any invoice line item to a customer's invoice. For NDIS you can also include the NDIS charge code to enable claiming in the claim batch. For instructions and help on how to create a charge fee please view this article.

Simply complete the form when adding any of the above and the adjustments will be automatically included in the relevant weekly processing cycle based on the date of the adjustment.

Please note you will find that you cannot back-date adjustments into weeks that have already been processed as those weeks are locked by the system.
