Consecutive Visits - Why can't a support worker sign off a visit? Cannot see the option to finish a shift as part of a chain visit

Sometimes Careflo doesn't let me finish a shift, how can I sign off the visit and will it affect Finance or invoicing charges?

There are circumstances that causes Careflo not to require signoff from the support worker, however the system will always set the visit as "Completed" which means the shift completes.

The support worker signoff is only to capture that this happened and can be manually handled when this occurs by adding a note if required.

The main cause is when a support worker has two consecutive visits, or that travel time between the visits means they won't have time to sign off in between, so Careflo sets the visit signoff to not be required.

Another reason could be that the  visit start and end time was updated shortly before the start time which means Careflo needed time to update.

Please rest assured that shifts are always completed and pay and charges will be as per the planned visit times regardless of support worker signoff.
