Careflo allows you to allocate timeslots in a general week (this setup is not week specific but is for any given week) where a warning will show for an allocated visit so that it flags you to confirm with the support worker that they will be available.
You will see a warning like this on the Visit Details screen when the allocated support worker is marked as Red - unavailable:
That message is coming from the Support worker availability matrix and is based on what was entered there.
It is just a warning message but tells you that the worker prefers not to work that time of the week (in general), not to do with actual visit blocking that time.
First navigate to the support worker details screen in the Staff module:
Then view the availability matrix that can be setup for each Support Worker:
See all the Red blocks of time? These will trigger the warning that they have blocked their time out for the timeslot. These are for any given week and are not specific to any visits, that is a different warning message.
Anything marked to Yellow will also get a warning message that the support worker should be contacted first before confirming a visit time.
How to I change the availability?
Simply click the boxes to change them to Yellow or Green and it will change between Red, Yellow and Green.
The meaning of the colours are:
Red: The support worker is generally not available for the timeslot
Yellow: The support worker may not be available
Green: The support worker is normally available
If they are all Green then you won't get the warning message for that support worker on any visit.
