In Cargofive, you have the valuable capability to create and manage clients, an essential aspect of your logistics operations. These clients are further categorized into two key types: Companies and Contacts. Let's explore how they work together to streamline your workflow.

Understanding Clients:

Clients Defined: Clients are the entities with whom you engage in business using Cargofive. They serve as the recipients of your quotes and are integral to your operational framework. Clients can be further divided into two categories:

  1. Companies: These are the organizational entities you serve. A single company can encompass multiple contacts. All quotes associated with these contacts and companies are automatically saved and linked in the company profile.

  2. Contacts: Contacts represent the individuals within those companies—your customers. They hold vital information such as addresses, emails, and telephone numbers. Contacts can belong to a specific company and can initiate and manage multiple quotes concurrently.

Working with Companies:

  • Key Information: Companies are identified by their business name and may include additional data such as email addresses and price levels.

  • Multiple Contacts: Companies can house various contacts, streamlining communication and information sharing.

  • Quote Management: Companies can have multiple quotes associated with them at the same time, ensuring comprehensive tracking of your interactions.

Working with Contacts:

  • Contact Details: Contacts are rich repositories of information, including their addresses, emails, and telephone numbers.

  • Company Affiliation: Contacts can be linked to specific companies, allowing for clear organizational structure.
