Currently when doing a search on Cargofive, the system works looking for the whole search indicated.
That means if you look for a rate for 20'DV, 40'DV and 40'HC the system will send the same search to the carrier app.
However, we all know that sometimes one size of container is not available, in this case, regardless of which size is missing, the connection does not retrieve any results, as the connection of Cargofive with the carrier's web does not work the same way a manual search we could do where we get the results of whatever is available.
Cargofive system connection searches for rates with the whole info requested complete, that means a price for a 20DV, a price for a 40DV and a price for 40HC, all inside the same offer. This implies that when one of the prices is missing the system won't get any result back, therefore it launches the same request (route) again but only for the 20DV (usually the size with most availability) . That is why we may only get results for a 20DV despite the fact there is also a price for 40HC, cause the price for 40DV is missing.
If you are willing to look specifically for a rate for a 40' we suggest you only select the desired size instead of the three of them 😊
