The Docrio integration with Case Status allows your firm to bridge the gap between document management and client communication. By enabling this feature, files shared within Case Status are automatically filed into your Docrio environment, maintaining a centralized "Single Source of Truth" for every Matter.
1. Activation & API Licensing
As of June 2025, every Docrio integration requires a unique API activation. While Case Status manages the technical handshake, your firm must provide specific details to authorize the connection.
To begin activation, please provide your Case Status Implementation Manager with:
Your Official Customer Name
Your Salesforce Organization ID
How to find your Org ID:
Click the Gear Icon in the top right of Salesforce and select Setup.
Navigate to Company Settings > Company Information.
Locate the Salesforce Organization ID.
Note: Case Status will handle submitting information to Litify/Docrio once this information is received.
2. Salesforce Configuration: The Filing Cabinet
Before documents can sync, you must create a destination for them within your Docrio Filing Cabinet. If the folder is not created, files will sync to the database but will not be visible in your UI.
Open the App Launcher (the "waffle" icon) and select the Docrio app.
Select the Docrio Filing Cabinet tab.
Click the Folder Icon to create a new folder.
Name the folder Case Status.
Note: If your firm has requested a custom naming convention for folders, ensure that your Case Status Implementation Manager is aware and has performed necessary adjustments in Case Status.
3. Testing the Sync
Once configuration is complete, we recommend a live test to verify the connection.
Open a test Matter, and ensure it syncs to Case Status.
Send a document from the Case Status mobile app, and ensure it was delivered within the Case Status interface.
Verification: You should see the file appear in the "Case Status" folder within the Docrio Filing Cabinet on that specific Matter record.
Troubleshooting Common Issues
Files are missing from the Filing Cabinet: Check that the folder name in Docrio matches the "Folder Path" in your Case Status settings exactly (case-sensitive).
Sync Errors: Ensure that the user assigned as the "Author" has the appropriate permissions to create records in the Docrio
Fileobject.
