PRE-TREATMENT INSTRUCTIONS

  • Discontinue the use of Isotretinoin for six months prior to the treatment.

  • Discontinue the use of topical prescription medications for 48 hours before having the procedure.

  • Refrain from using any type of exfoliating treatments such as glycolic, enzymes and scrubs in the treatment area for 48 hours prior to your appointment.

  • Refrain from any medium/deep chemical resurfacing and laser treatments for one month prior to your procedure

  • Refrain from waxing and using depilatories for 48 hours before your HydraFacial.

  • Discontinue the use of OTC acne medications such as Benzoyl Peroxide and Salicylic for 48 hours before treatment.

  • If you are prone to cold sores, HydraFacial may cause a breakout. To reduce the risk, ask your doctor for prophylactic treatment. Please use the medication two days before, during, and two days after your treatment

  • Avoid sun tanning or tanning creams/sprays for at least 72 hours before treatment.

  • Wait at least two weeks before having any filler or anti-wrinkle injections.

  • Shaving is not recommended on the day of treatment. If you choose to shave, please shave at least 3-4 hours prior to your treatment.

  • On the day of your appointment, a full consultation will be provided, if you have any health requirements, or allergies or are pregnant, be sure to notify us when you make your appointment.

  • Please feel free to contact us with any concerns if you are in doubt about whether you are a candidate for this treatment.

    POST-TREATMENT INSTRUCTIONS

  • Avoid sunbathing for at least 48 hours after your treatment but know that we recommend avoiding this indefinitely. This will prevent UV rays from damaging your skin as it will slow down the benefits of your HydraFacial.

  • Clients who absolutely cannot avoid sun exposure should use a broad-spectrum sunscreen with an SPF of 30 or higher.

  • Injections can be resumed 24 hours after treatment.

  • Waxing and depilatories can be resumed 48 hours following your procedure.

  • Avoid excessive heat in scenarios such as showers, saunas, and intense cardio for at least 24 hours after your treatment.

  • Avoid applying makeup on the day of treatment.

  • Topical prescription medications can be resumed within 48 hours.

  • OT acne medications may be resumed within 48 hours.

  • if you have any questions concerning your aftercare.
