💡 Best Practices for Drop-Ins

Create a smooth and professional experience for drop-ins — from booking to billing.

👥 How Leads Work

Leads are people in your system without full member access. A person becomes a lead when they:

  • Sign a waiver via a link or QR code

  • Purchase a drop-in or free trial via a drop-in type membership

Leads do not have access to:

  • The mobile app

  • Daily Workouts

  • Class Schedule

  • The in-app Store

This setup keeps your member list clean and focused on active members.

You can upgrade leads to full members anytime in your admin panel:
👉 Admins > Organization > Gym Leads

Pro tip: Leads can remain leads and still repurchase drop-ins using a link or QR code on your website.

📲 Want Drop-Ins to Access the App?

If you'd like drop-ins to do more — like book classes or view workouts — you’ll want to give them limited app access.

Here’s how:

  1. Create the drop-in as a punch card type membership

  2. Share a purchase link or QR code

  3. After purchase, they'll receive a registration email to download the app

  4. Once in the app, they can:

    • Schedule classes

    • View Daily Workouts

    • Repurchase drop-ins from the Store (make sure it’s visible in Store Setup)

✅ This gives drop-ins a seamless experience with little to no work from you
