Chargeback Fighting Guide

This article explains how we can automatically respond to your chargebacks and improve your win ratio.

This guide explains how chargeback fighting works inside the platform and what merchants need in order to get fully set up.

1. What Is Chargeback Fighting?

Chargeback fighting is the process of responding to disputes filed by customers through their issuing banks. When a chargeback occurs, the merchant is given a chance to submit evidence proving the transaction was valid.
Our platform automates the end-to-end process—helping merchants reduce losses, recover revenue, and avoid the time-consuming manual work normally involved in chargeback responses.

2. Requirements for Getting Started

To enable automated chargeback fighting, merchants must connect the following:

✓ 1. A Supported Payment Processor.

This allows us to receive chargeback alerts, pull dispute data, and submit responses on your behalf.

✓ 2. A Supported CRM / E-commerce Platform

This is how we retrieve customer and order information to build accurate, compliant chargeback responses.

3. Supported Platforms & Business Types

We currently work best with e-commerce merchants operating through one of the following CRM or storefront platforms:

  • Shopify

  • Checkout Champ

  • WooCommerce

  • Phoenix

  • Tagadapay

  • 29Next

  • Additional popular CRMs and e-com tools

These integrations allow us to automatically sync order data, fulfillment info, customer details, and product information—everything needed for strong, consistent dispute responses.

Business Models We Support

  • Primarily E-commerce brands

  • Subscription or recurring billing models (when supported by the CRM)

  • Single-product, multi-product, and hybrid stores

What If My Business Isn’t E-com or if I don't have a CRM

If your merchant is not an e-commerce business or if you do not use a CRM, we may still be able to support the account if the chargeback volume is 300+ chargebacks per month.

This threshold ensures that we can still efficiently automate your responses even without a direct CRM integration.

4. The Disputes Page

The Disputes page is where you can see every chargeback our system is working on. Here you can:

  • View all incoming chargebacks

  • Track the status of each response

  • See when a response was submitted

  • Monitor wins, losses, and pending cases

This page updates automatically through your connected processor integration.

5. The Templates Page

The Templates page allows you to view and customize the evidence templates used in your chargeback responses.

What Merchants Should Know

  • When new merchants onboard, we create and configure templates for you.

  • Templates are pre-optimized for your business model and processor requirements.

  • You can add or edit any template content if you want to include additional evidence or brand-specific details.

This gives you complete flexibility while still keeping the system hands-off and automated.

6. How Automated Chargeback Fighting Works

Once your processor and CRM are connected, the process becomes nearly hands-off:

  1. A chargeback is received from your processor

  2. The system automatically pulls all relevant order data

  3. A response is generated using your templates

  4. Evidence is packaged and submitted

  5. You can monitor everything from your dashboard, with no manual action required

As long as you’re using a CRM, your responses, and evidence preparation run automatically.

Summary:

To benefit from automated chargeback responses, merchants must connect:

  1. A payment processor (for receiving and submitting chargebacks)

  2. A CRM/e-commerce platform (for syncing order and customer data)

The system works best with e-commerce merchants using platforms like Shopify, Checkout Champ, WooCommerce, Phoenix, TagadaPay, and similar CRMs. These integrations allow automatic data syncing for strong, consistent chargeback responses.

We primarily support e-commerce business models, including subscription and multi-product stores. Non-ecom businesses or businesses that don't use CRMs can still be onboarded if they have 300+ chargebacks per month.
