Automated Chargeback Representment

Learn more about chargeback representment.

Automated chargeback representment allows merchants to streamline the dispute response process by automatically submitting evidence for eligible chargebacks before the processor deadline.

Once configured, disputes are monitored continuously and responses are automatically prepared and submitted on your behalf.

Supported Platforms

Automated representment is currently supported for merchants using the following CRMs and ecommerce platforms:

  • Shopify

  • WooCommerce / WordPress

  • Checkout Champ

  • Sticky.io

If your business operates on a different CRM or custom platform, representment may still be possible through:

  • Custom order imports

  • API integrations

  • Manual data synchronization

This is typically evaluated on a case-by-case basis depending on volume and technical compatibility.

How Setup Works

To enable automated chargeback fighting, merchants generally need to:

  1. Connect their payment processor(s)

  2. Connect their CRM or ecommerce platform

  3. Allow dispute synchronization and order access

Once connected, the system can automatically:

  • Detect incoming disputes

  • Pull relevant order and fulfillment data

  • Build representment responses

  • Submit evidence before deadlines

Chargeback Response Timing

Eligible disputes are typically responded to automatically within a set timeframe before the processor due date.

This helps:

  • Prevent missed deadlines

  • Reduce manual workload

  • Improve operational efficiency

  • Increase consistency in dispute responses

Activation Timeline

For newly onboarded merchants, automated chargeback fighting may take up to 72 business hours to become fully active after setup is completed.

This activation window may vary depending on:

  • Processor connection status

  • CRM synchronization

  • API permissions

  • Historical order syncing

Additional Notes

Automated representment effectiveness depends on several factors, including:

  • Quality of order data

  • Fulfillment information

  • Tracking availability

  • Processor evidence requirements

  • Dispute reason codes

Certain disputes may still require:

  • Manual review

  • Additional documentation

  • Merchant input

For high-volume merchants or custom integrations, additional onboarding assistance may be required.
