How to integrate Paysight with the Chargeback Management App

Connecting Paysight lets us find your orders so we can resolve chargeback alerts and fight chargebacks for you. You'll invite our team as a user in Paysight, add Paysight in the portal, and let us know.

Before you start

In this guide, you will be able to:

  • Invite our team as a user on the Paysight account, using the correct email and role

  • Add Paysight to your integrations in the chargeback management portal, using the Other option

  • Let our team know the invite is on its way, so we can accept it quickly

  • Confirm that the connection is working

You'll need access to the Paysight dashboard with permission to manage users, and access to the chargeback management portal.

Onboarding a merchant for a client? If you manage merchants in the admin panel, you can send these steps to the merchant, or complete them yourself if you have access to their Paysight account.

⚠️ Important: Always send the invite to onboarding@disputifier.com, exactly as written. Invites sent to any other email address won't be linked to our team's Paysight account, and we won't be able to access the data.

Note: Please don't share your Paysight username and password with us. A user invite is the secure way to give us access, and it can be removed at any time.

Why we need access to Paysight

Paysight is the CRM where transactions, customers, and subscriptions live. With user access, our team can:

  • Look up the order behind each chargeback alert or chargeback

  • Refund transactions linked to chargeback alerts, so they don't turn into chargebacks

  • Gather evidence for chargeback responses, such as order, customer, and subscription details

Without access, some alerts may show as "can't find," and chargeback responses may be missing order evidence.

Part 1: Invite our team as a user in Paysight

In this first part, you'll add our team as a user on the Paysight account.

  1. Log in to the Paysight dashboard.

  2. Go to Settings > Users.

  3. Invite a new user.

  4. In the Email field, enter onboarding@disputifier.com.

  5. Set the role to Admin.

  6. Send the invite.

Why Admin and not User? Paysight has two roles. The User role can only view most resources, so our team couldn't refund transactions linked to chargeback alerts. The Admin role gives us the access we need to refund those transactions before they become chargebacks.

💡 Have more than one merchant on Paysight? Send each invite to the same email: onboarding@disputifier.com. Our team uses one Paysight login for every account, so you never need a different email per merchant.

Part 2: Add Paysight in the portal

In this second part, you'll add Paysight to the merchant's integrations. Paysight doesn't have its own integration option yet, so you'll add it using Other. The steps depend on whether you're onboarding a merchant in the admin panel or adding Paysight to your own merchant account.

If you're onboarding a new merchant in the admin panel:

  1. In the left menu, click Merchants and open the merchant's enrollment.

  2. Go to the Integrate the CRM section.

  3. Under Select Merchant's CRM, choose Other.

  4. Enter Paysight as the CRM name.

  5. If the merchant uses Paysight for every MID, select Use this CRM for all merchant's MIDs. If you've already connected this Paysight account for another merchant, select Reuse a CRM.

  6. Under Status Update, select the option that matches the situation.

  7. Click Save.

If you're a merchant adding Paysight to your own account:

  1. In the chargeback management dashboard, click Settings in the left menu.

  2. Select Integrations.

  3. Find Other and click Add New

  4. In the Portal Name field, enter Paysight.

  5. In the Portal URL field, enter https://app.paysight.io/

  6. Email invite has to be to onboarding@disputifier.com

  7. Confirm that you've sent the user invite by checking the box

  8. In the If you set a username, please enter it here field please enter your business name as it appears in Paysight

  9. Leave the username and password fields empty. You've already given us access with the user invite in Part 1

  10. Select the MID this Paysight account is linked to

  11. Click Add

Once you click Save, Paysight will show as added in the Integrations section.

Part 3: Let our team know

Paysight invite links can expire quickly, so tell us as soon as you've sent the invite.

  1. Open the live chat in the chargeback management portal.

  2. Let us know you've sent a Paysight invite, and include:

    • The merchant name and website URL

    • The business name as it appears in Paysight

    • The date and time you sent the invite

Once we accept the invite, we'll confirm with you that everything is working.

Verify your setup before you finish

Run through this checklist to confirm each part of the Paysight integration was completed correctly:

  • The invite was sent to onboarding@disputifier.com, with no extra characters or variations (Part 1, Step 4)

  • The role is set to Admin (Part 1, Step 5)

  • Paysight was added using Other, with the name Paysight, in the admin panel or under Settings > Integrations (Part 2)

  • Our team was told the invite was sent, with the merchant name and website URL (Part 3)

  • Our team confirmed we can see the Paysight account

Common issues and how to fix them

The invite shows as expired. Paysight invite links expire after a short time. In Paysight, go to Settings > Users, remove the pending invite, send a new one to onboarding@disputifier.com, and let us know right away through live chat.

The invite email bounced or wasn't received. This usually happens when the invite was sent to a different email address. Check that the invite was sent to onboarding@disputifier.com exactly. If it wasn't, remove it and send a new invite to the correct email.

We had access before, but can't see the account anymore. This usually means our user was removed or its role was changed in Paysight. Go to Settings > Users in Paysight. If our user is missing, send a new invite to onboarding@disputifier.com with the Admin role. If our user is listed with the User role, change it to Admin.

I can't find where to invite a user in Paysight. Users are managed under Settings > Users. If you don't see this option, your Paysight role may not allow you to manage users. Ask the account administrator to send the invite, or contact Paysight support through the chat icon in the Paysight dashboard or the Paysight ticket portal.

I can't find Paysight in the integrations list. Paysight doesn't have its own option yet. Choose Other and enter Paysight as the name, following Part 2.

The merchant uses Paysight together with another CRM or gateway. Keep all of them connected. We may need data from each one to find every order linked to chargeback alerts and chargebacks.

Frequently asked questions

Why do I have to use onboarding@disputifier.com?

It's our team's main Paysight login. Invites sent to this email are added to our account automatically, so we can access the data without creating a new login.

Do I need a different email for each merchant?

No. Use onboarding@disputifier.com for every merchant. Our team switches between Paysight accounts from one login.

Can access be removed later?

Yes. Our user can be removed from Settings > Users in Paysight at any time. After access is removed, we won't be able to resolve alerts or fight chargebacks that need Paysight data.

💡 If you've checked everything above and the Paysight integration still isn't working, contact our support team through live chat. Include the merchant name and website URL, and let us know which step the issue occurs at so we can help.
