Understanding the Financial Tools on the Customer Page
Chariot’s customer page consolidates all financial data related to a customer across their jobs, offering a clear view of invoices, payments, and account balances. Here’s how to access and use these tools.
Access the Customer Page
Navigate to the Customers Page and select the customer whose financial details you want to review.
Ensure the customer has jobs linked to their profile; financial data is aggregated from these linked jobs.
View Invoices
Go to the Invoices Tab:
View a comprehensive list of all invoices associated with the customer.
Check key details, including:
Invoice Date: When the invoice was created.
Status: Whether it’s paid, pending, or voided.
Actions you can take directly from the Invoices Tab:
View PDF: Download or preview the invoice.
Void an Invoice: Manage inaccuracies or canceled jobs.\
View Payments
Navigate to the Payments Tab:
Review all payments made by the customer across all their jobs.
Key information includes:
Payment Method: How the payment was made (e.g., credit card, bank transfer).
Transaction ID: For payments made through Chariot, enabling easy tracking.
Payment Amount: Total paid for each transaction.
